Hey guys.  Has there been a new thread created for another event?  What's the schedule looking like for 2015?  I have a buddy who just moved to Santa something in SoCal, so I was hoping to get him out to one of these.

Hey guys.  Has there been a new thread created for another event?  What's the schedule looking like for 2015?  I have a buddy who just moved to Santa something in SoCal, so I was hoping to get him out to one of these.

We have not started planning our next outing yet - prolly should get going on that.  However, we HAVE started planning the big fall outing, and you should consider that - cuz we need you!

I might finally have enough of a game to actually play in this coming outing!

I'm definitely interested.  Dates aren't as important (yet), but generally the later in the year, the better.  Empire Lakes would be a great choice, that's not a far haul for me. I could probably scrape together 1 or 2 other guys, all legit mid cappers (10 - 12).  Just let me know.

Yeah, and nobody has started a thread for the next outing, but we try to do them quarterly-ish and our last one was technically the Spring outing, in May or so, so I think that maybe we'll be looking at August for the next one?

Oh BTW I am happy to announce GK Tee Times which is a group sell through.  I think I can hook us up for larger groups using my contacts there and get really good rates.  The only catch would be you would have to join GK and write a golf course review.

But then if you're not interested that is fine as well.

      Day 44, June 17.  Today was some preliminary stretching, exploring what I'll want to set up as a regular routine (both while on vacation without clubs and when I'm back) (aside: this is part of an upcoming goal to stretch daily in a meaningful way, but I don't plan to count it as practice on days that I can meaningfully practice with a club)

      Having a rough week. Went to the Dr. because I was really weak and could hardly swing my driver.  I take Propranolol 20 mg tablets twice a day. Seems like the Propranolol was driving my pulse down (low 50's).  So we cut the dosage in half and I started taking my blood pressure. It was a little high but pulse came up.   Then yesterday I raised it to 15 mg tab by taking it 3 times a day. Blood pressure 127 / 77 Pulse 75.  Heading out tomorrow morning for 18 holes.    I have my driver set at 10.5* but seem to have my swing speed to low and I can't get the lift on the ball I need.  I have not played this week in hopes I will have the strength to raise my swing speed. I may have to raise my loft to 12* . (I will take my driver wrench) tomorrow. (This Parkinson's is a pain in the butt.)  Will give you a report when I get back.    Retired Old Man, Terry

      You still got to lift your arms. You basically just roll your wrist over in the 1st half of the backswing.
