So, work on two things, backswing first:

Turn more on the backswing. You'll want to hinge the club more too, and keep the right elbow in front of your chest more.

Then… "get the arms down faster" on the downswing.

Thanks Erik!

I am working of getting the arms faster, those swings were from some years ago.

This are from yesterday's range session.

I got this feeling... that might be wrong but I thought of it as if I were throwing my hands to the ball, to avoid coming from the out-to-in. It worked cause I got some little draws or it went straight.

How can I get rid of being across the line at the top? I feel like that has something to do too.

Derp. Sorry. My fault for not scrolling up.

Eh, aside from the handle burying a little bit (going left quickly) through impact, it's tough to see at 30 FPS what the issues are. The lower the handicap, the higher the framerate required because the flaws and/or compensations get a lot smaller.

You could try the feeling of raising the handle up and out away from you (toward the target) a bit.

I don't know that I'd worry too much about it. It doesn't appear to me that you go overly steep from there or anything.

I owe you a PM. This week, and if I don't get back to you this week, all the drinks are on me the entire time I'm there. :)

That part in bold, is for when I get at impact?

Indeed. My cousin is coming to the city for New Year's Day and I would like to adress that topic with him. I have been chatting with some other people around here and they also would like to have one here. :-D

From A6 to A8, or even 6.5 to 8, feel the handle raising more than going left, low, and around you.

I think that is one of the most difficult things I will try to do. I have read about it here but tried and fail. :(

@atrapasuenos, please embed your videos, thanks.

Also, this:

Proper angles are important and slow motion video makes it easier for people to see what's going on.

Got the chance to record a video yesterday. I'm trying to hit more up with the driver so I don't get a lot of back spin. Last time I went to a fitting my AoA with the driver was in between -3 and -4 so it was very severe. What do yo think?

Second swing I think was a bit if a pull. The range it's quite short as you can see.

    • I know you guys were discussing this like a year ago. But, ironically I just had this discussion with my brother-in-law. We literally just did one of these. I'd always used the "Slow-Cook, Rest, and Sear" Method. But my bother-in-law was convinced the "5-Min/lb, 500 degree" method was the way. So, we gave it a go. I have to say it came out great.  I have a 25 year old, electric oven, GE brand... Not sure if that matters, but it came out great. ... Of course we stressed that nobody was to open the oven.   I don't make these all that often so, I'm not sure if I can fully recommend one method or the other, because without doing a Pepsi Challenge, I'd say both ways come out great. 👍😁👍
