I do know what you mean about wearing winter clothing allowing the golfer more control in their swing. Of course, with that more controllable swing, there is usually some  loss of distance.

not necessarily.  usually the result of a more controlled swing is added distance due to better sequencing and improved contact.  overswinging can oftentimes lead to a slower swing.

Just don't wear this, we'll ban you from the site

saw a tool wearing one of those at the range.
