Played Mattaponi Springs yesterday north of Richmond, one of the toughest and hilliest layout I've played anywhere. This is pic looking back at the fairway from next to the green of the 9th hole. The pic doesn't do justice but that's a good 50-60 feet drop. Lot of forced carries to the greens which were heavily tired and slow as molasses. Lot of fairway runoffs. Visually beautiful course though. Played mostly defense and shot a meh 82 loosing five shots in the first six holes.

Swing check. 7 iron and driver with focus on some basics, steady head, maintain incline, unlocked elbow/wrist joints.proper hip rotation.

Weight is too far back in your feet, moves forward during the backswing.

When your pelvis moves this much, so does everything else, because your pelvis is in the middle of your body.
