We could tee off at 0530. Otherwise we'll be carrying Drew and Mike off the course on a stretcher. BTW I'm out in the Mojave today and it's hoooooottt.

I grew up in Fresno - heat doesn't bother me.

I'm out in Palm Desert at the moment and am enjoying a nice cool afternoon. I'll be playing out here plenty the next three months, so I can be up for the round you propose.

That's a possibility if you guys can put up with me again.  Ryan and Jason would probably be up for it too.

Just trying to find my way around

When do rates go up again in Palm Springs area? Maybe a late September event? @Big C and I had a mini this weekend here in Phx. :-)

As far as I'm concerned, you're all welcome. I didn't get much of a chance to chat with you or Jason, but Ryan was fun to play with. Is there going to be a Phoenix area summer outing?

I am obviously in for a Phoenix area event! Do you make it to this Phx often?

Not as much as I'd like. I have family in the Palm Springs area, so when I'm going for summer desert golf, I go there (I used to go to Palm Springs for summer golf, even when I didn't have family in the area). I really would like to get to Phoenix more (I really love it every time I'm there).

    • Attempting to lift. Any better?
    • Day 82: mirror work again tonight. Working on the same shoulder down and roll and twist stuff. Going on vacation tomorrow and putting the clubs down, so new streak starts in about 10 days!
    • Day 44, June 17.  Today was some preliminary stretching, exploring what I'll want to set up as a regular routine (both while on vacation without clubs and when I'm back) (aside: this is part of an upcoming goal to stretch daily in a meaningful way, but I don't plan to count it as practice on days that I can meaningfully practice with a club)
    • Having a rough week. Went to the Dr. because I was really weak and could hardly swing my driver.  I take Propranolol 20 mg tablets twice a day. Seems like the Propranolol was driving my pulse down (low 50's).  So we cut the dosage in half and I started taking my blood pressure. It was a little high but pulse came up.   Then yesterday I raised it to 15 mg tab by taking it 3 times a day. Blood pressure 127 / 77 Pulse 75.  Heading out tomorrow morning for 18 holes.    I have my driver set at 10.5* but seem to have my swing speed to low and I can't get the lift on the ball I need.  I have not played this week in hopes I will have the strength to raise my swing speed. I may have to raise my loft to 12* . (I will take my driver wrench) tomorrow. (This Parkinson's is a pain in the butt.)  Will give you a report when I get back.    Retired Old Man, Terry
    • You still got to lift your arms. You basically just roll your wrist over in the 1st half of the backswing.
