It's going on right now through Sunday. I've never been to one of these. I always say I'm going to go, and for one reason or another, don't. As of now, I'm going to check it out tomorrow.

Here's their site: http://northcoastgolfshows.com/shows/new-jersey/

I don't really know what to expect, but I'm not expecting a lot. Exhibitor list has a lot of travel/vacation companies, which I have no interest in. Maybe there will be good deals on merchandise. I'll probably spend most of my time demoing stuff.

Anybody else planning on going to this? @nevets88 , got any plans for tomorrow?

Free lessons, club demos and the long drive contest (to watch.) Probably some specials available from the golf courses at the show. Unfortunately I've got visitors from out of town this weekend @billchao otherwise, I'd take you up on the offer. Michael Breed is gonna be there tomorrow.

Are you suggesting that I'm not going to win? ;-)
Unfortunately I've got visitors from out of town this weekend @billchao otherwise, I'd take you up on the offer. Neither of these guys affect my decision to go, one way or another.

Boston's is this weekend too.  The exhibitor list is similar.  I keep thinking of going and never do.  If there were more equipment vendors then maybe.

Ok, I guess I won't be winning the Long Drive contest :-D
Boston's is this weekend too.  The exhibitor list is similar.  I keep thinking of going and never do.  If there were more equipment vendors then maybe.
I do the same. I'm going to go this year just to see what it's all about.

You get a free subscription to golf magazine with admission so that is always a plus.

They have one here in Dallas this weekend.  It is good to keep your Golf Digest subscription refreshed.  Other than that.....bunch of timeshare or vacation advertisers, though Golfsmith and Edwin Watts used to have a decent selection.  Not sure who thinks it's a good idea to close on the first day (Friday) at 6PM, but oh well.

You know how that saying goes about the best laid plans? I didn't go. :-)

Neither did I.  I spent the weekend removing ice from the driveway and sidewalk instead!

Wasn't the Boston show last weekend?

Yes.  That is what I was referring to.  I always think about going but never do.  The vendor list was mostly vacation stuff.

You missed out. It is worth it just to see Brian Pavlet hit a ball through a piece of wood from less than 10 feet away. They had Jason Zuback doing a demo another year.

We threw a party on Sunday that needed some last minute prep, so that's what I ended up doing. • Imma throw a dart in the dark as no one can tell what is happening once every fourth iron shot per your OP. This might sound counterintuitive but if ball position is too far back in the stance folks are known to throw down clubhead steeply. Could be happening. And yes, @billchaois not wrong; clubhead tends to bottom out wherever your pressure is. So slide forward (not sway), then hit.
    • Day 300 (!): did a stack session.
    • Day 24: Missed my weekly round due to a last minute little league makeup game this morning. Managed to get in some backswing rehearsals while grilling sausages for dinner, and then putted around the office/laundry room after dinner.
    • but I don't understand how that's possible you still want your head to stay back you don't want the upper body coming forward and plus I've tried feeling that and it made my fat shots worse and I then tend to pull and sky all my shots especially with driver because I get in front of it dont need force plates to see i finish on my left side
