Regripped the clubs this week with Golf Pride New Decade™ MultiCompound grips. Boy are they nice. I am kind of pissed at myself that I haven't tried them sooner. I have used lots of different grips over the last few years, but these feel the best. I had Winn Raves on before these but they needed a great deal of upkeep and they wore out fairly quickly. I regrip twice a year but found the Winns on my clubs that I practice with a great deal (ie. my wedges) needed regripping even more often than that. Anyway I am looking forward to this winter to see how they hold up. Anyone else have any history with the New Decades?

Man, you do play a lot, don't you ? To re-grip twice a year. So tell me what makes the new grips so nice ?

Yeah I hit a lot of balls. I regrip twice a year because it makes my clubs feel like new.

I like the feel because its the best of both worlds, the grip of cord on the top hand and the feel of rubber grips on the bottom. Plus I went back to a ribbed grip after having round for a while. I really prefer ribbed grips.

I regripped my clubs earlier this summer with the same ones. LOVE EM!!! When I ordered my new irons a couple weeks back, needless to say...I asked for the same grips.

In The Bag:

... Anyone else have any history with the New Decades?

I tried them when they first came out but wasn't too happy with the durability but did love the feel and traction, I haven't tried them recently though.

I just had my driver regripped with one, they feel soo much better than tour velvet (a lot more grip and moisture management)
Driver Titleist 905R 9.5* (Stiff Prolaunch Blue 65g)

      Day 39: did top golf for an hour with the family. It was fun but also not really like real golf at all. Also did some mirror work - working on the backswing stuff mostly.

      Day 4, 1/2/26.  Played 18 today;  didn't get a chance to warm up (had I known the range was closed, I'd have hit balls at home first).  Played okay, 92 with three balls in the water.  It was raining for more than half the round and I didn't quite appreciate before today just how much I benefit from roll on both drives and approach shots.  I did not adapt well to this change until about hole 15, which is something I have to figure out.

      Day 143 1-2 Arch wrist in downswing. Having a SLIGHT cup in the lead wrist at the top now. Only paused swings with some rehearsals before swinging at ball.  Used foam ball.

      Day 459 - 2026-01-02 Had two guys on GEARS Hybrid, so I hopped on afterward (I'm going to do this a lot more often now). So… I've signed myself up for another month of backswing work in two ways: A little more extension of the trail elbow (got into the upper 90s) Less pelvis turn (low 50s).

      Day 31 (2 Jan 26) - Usual Friday men’s group shootout - good day of shot making  as most shots were right on line to the target point.  Putter and green reads were solid with some great par saves and a really tricky birdie.
