The weather in Texas has been a shame. If there's any good news, this is it. After today, the weather looks beautiful so hopefully they can get at least some golf in today to set up a long Sunday that they should finish.

As for Spieth, I agree. I don't think it's "a roll", I think it's "the norm." This kid was competing in tournaments on a regular basis two years ago when he was 20. And he's only getting better. If Jim Furyk's considered an ATM Machine, Jordan Spieth is the friggin' bank.

With Rickie's backslide, I just punched out of the Irish Open and cancelled recording tomorrow. Compelling course and on my bucket list but can't overcome the lackluster leader board. So, Nelson wins this week. Lets go Spieth.

Neither tournament has been very compelling from a star power standpoint, but Royal County Down made the Irish Open far more interesting.

Agreed on both accounts. Royal County Down was downright hilarious to watch at times. Absolutely brutal weather combined with that course = fun.

Two weeks in a row that a lackluster Texas event has a better leaderboard than the supposedly better Euro event.

That's kind of what I thought as well. I did enjoy the views from Royal County Down but, that is where it ended with me.

    • So no joke, last evening post work nine must have been the craziest side I've ever played: Bogey, double, double, par, birdie, birdie, birdie, double, birdie. Two gimme birdies, one 15 footer and one bonus bomb from prolly 35 feet on no. 9. Full disclosure, it's a super easy course when greens are running at an 8 with easy welcoming pins. Still, a couple of firsts there. Driver freed me up starting the fourth hole. Anyway, driver notes: 1) anti left left hand grip. 2) no structural bind on hands/grip. 3) left shoulder HAS to get up to chin with humerus completely detached from chest and shoulder socket (feel) Big game tomorrow, aiming to break 80.
