I haven't played in 2 weeks and it will probably be another before I'm back on the course. My 1 year old accidently stepped on my balls. Ultrasound showed no significant damage but I've been advised to take it easy for a bit and I'm still in pain.

I think I would have kept that to myself.....
thanks (i think)...    :) not sure yet...  going through various "elimination tests"...  sooner or later they will figure out why...   my diagnosis of "i'm old" doesn't seem to satisfy them...  :) all i can say is it sucks...   i am VERY tired of crutches...
Crutches are horrible, especially when you are in college...

they are horrible at 52 too... tg for my wife... i'd be up the creek without a paddle without her... at least we know "how come" now... bone density test revealed that i have pretty severe osteoporosis... :-( which isn't good... next step is to see if the rheumotologist can help... remains to be seen, but there appear to be some treatments these days that will at least halt/slow it...

Me too - putting and short game are getting mighty sharp, though... Stay away from me in miniature golf. You'll lose your shirt.

That's definitely not good...

Yay! Over lunch I took a 50% swing and it was pain free. The wrist is still sloppy but I am much more optimistic. Hopefully I will be able to hit a few soon....

I remember I hurt my left wrist a month ago, I felt like I was going crazy. Couldn't lift weights or swing a club, two of my favorite activities. OP, I feel for you. Maybe chip and putt course one handed if you're desperate?

I have resorted to a (albeit half hearted) isometric workouts and as far af the golf goes, I had to let it go. If I didn't it would chew me up inside missing it.

Wishing you a speedy recovery.

I have a slight discomfort in my MCL area, and a cracked little toe. Neither are affecting what I need to do golf training-wise though.

Good luck.

How did it go? Smoothly I hope. Did you get the roto rooter, radioactive implants or complete removal?

Hey, glad to see your playing a few holes without too much discomfort. Keep up the good work. I'm taking a break for maybe a month based on my two month follow up exam yesterday. Doc says steady improvement and good strength but the ITB is tight and Is pulling the knee inward so rotational load may hurt the MCL. So back to the pool and stairs for addition stretching and to strengthen, and rest. Wondered why I was favoring it and coming out of my shot lately. Poor weight shift to boot. :-(

I was going to post when my MCL had a minor tear and my little toe was cracked. Both of my injuries are nothing compared to some of the other stuff posted here. . .

Get well everyone. Wish you all the best for a speedy and effective recovery. :-)
