I have a new tr putter and would like to find a different headcover to use than the stock one. Ebay has a bunch of the same ones and there doesn't seem to be much of a selection in the big box stores. Google search is not showing much either. I would like to something interesting or maybe just a red magnetic closure one but not seeing anything that strikes me. If anyone has any hidden gems of websites with different selections, please post them.

Here's a couple of ideas, that are not "off the rack" so to speak.

If you know some one who knits, buy them the stuff they need to knit you a one of a kind cover. I have seen folks with their entire bag of clubs who used knitted club head covers. They looked good, and did the trick.

Another option is to go to a store that sells hand puppets. I had a little monkey puppet head for my  putter. It worked out quite well until my Grand Daughter took him, and held him for ransom. I did not pay the ransom. ;-) (another story) The Monkey can be seen in my profile pict.

On my current driver I have a St Bernard hand puppet, who I have named HC (head cover) A Big Dog covering for the Big Dog

Thanks @Patch for the suggestions. I am not a fan of the knitted covers because they remind me of the 80's haha and the yarn is not durable. I will check the site out @Mulligan Jeff tyvm

I saw these. It looks like it would cost at least $50 for a personalized head cover that really isn't exciting. I'd like to keep it under 25 bucks if possible.

eBay is where I got my spider-man head cover. There are a number of custom covers there. My avatar pic shows the spidey head cover. That's for a Newport SC style putter.

I have not seen anything I like so far on eBay.

    • Is it? I bought the Stack radar to replace my PRGR based on what Stack told me! When I am swinging for speed, the PRGR would miss 50%-80% of my backswings due to a higher speed. The stack seldom misses those- at least for me.
    • As an analyst by nature, I would like to compare the scores under both systems. It is something we can easily do if we have the data. I actually thought the new system was less fair to those whose game was on the decline - like mine! Old: Best 10 of last 20 scores with the .96 multiplier. Course handicap excluded course rating and overall par. New: Best 8/20. Course handicap includes course rating -par. My understanding is Stableford caps scores at Net double bogey like stroke play. If so, handicap should be slower to rise because you are only using 8 versus 10 scores. If I am missing something, I am curious enough to  want to understand what that may be. My home course tees that I play are 72.1/154 now. My best score out here is 82. When my game started to decline, my handicap didn’t budge for 13 rounds because of good scores in my first 8! I know I am an anomaly but my handicap has increased almost 80% in the past few years (with only a few rounds this year). For a few months I knew I was losing every bet because my game was nowhere near my handicap. I suspect I have steamrolled a few nuances but that shouldn’t matter much. When I have modeled this with someone playing the same tees and course, one good round, or return to form, will immediately reduce the handicap by some amount.
