Next time I stay at a Best Western, I'm going to request "one of those rooms with four beds and a dance floor, please."

Just for a fun contrast - here is the hotel room I'm staying in this week.  This is literally the entire room (I took this picture standing in the doorway).  I can almost touch the two side walls at the same time.

What was the lowest score?

It was scored using a Stableford (modified) format, so there was no "lowest score".

Here's the guys I played with:

I'm the guy on the left who didn't get the dress code memo!!!

Our team would have made the perfect scramble team:

@dave s - I put drives into play all day.  Not out very far, but would have given the team a chance to rip long ones each time.  Also played a lot of nice pitches, short-irons and hit a couple of putts as well that kept our team in the ball game.

@Braivo - would have been our guy for 3- and 5-woods off the deck.  Wow, he just crushed the 2nd shots on the par-4s and 5s.  Long and straight.  And on a WET course of this length, we played these shots all day!

@Jeremie Boop - legitimate 300 off the tee...even on a rain-soaked course.  Me watching his tee-balls, "Man, that was a BOMB!!!"

@vasaribm - fantastic long- and mid-iron player.  Saw him hit greens from 200 and in with the high, soft iron shots like we see on TV golf.

More on the event:

The course was beautiful.  Definitely country club quality.  Staff was nice, our hosts put on a great event for us.  Thank you.

The course took on rain before we played making the 6630 yard track play even longer.  We had a 75 minute rain delay between nines making it play even longer.  The event was handicapped so we were all playing the same course, I guess.

Great time despite the less-than-perfect weather conditions.  Enjoyed playing with the guys in our group.  Couldn't have been nicer guys.  Always enjoy meeting members from this fantastic site and the OH/PA/MI outing didn't disappoint.

Thanks again to our hosts for setting up the event and making it a fun time for all.  Can't wait to attend another.  I promise to wear pants next time!!!

I'm just not a big picture taking fan. That seems to always show on my face when I have to have one taken.

If I remember correctly, Jeremy's motto Saturday was, 'if there is a tree, my ball will find it!'  And it did.  He had several tee-ball BOMBS that found unfortunate lies.  It's always something with this game!

      Day 24 (4 Dec 25) - Spent about an hour working with the new 55° wedge in the backyard.  Kept all shots to under 20yds.  Big focus - not decelerating thru downswing and keeping speed up with abbreviated backswing.  Nothing like hitting a low flighted chip with plenty of check spin and then purpose to float a pitch of similar distance.

      Day 114 12-4 Put some work in on backswing, moving the hips correctly, then feeling over to lead side. Didn't hit any balls was just focused on keeping flowy and moving better. I'll probably do another session tonight and add in some foam balls.

      Didn't say anything about your understanding in my post.  Well, if you are not insisting on alignment with logic of the WHS, then no.  Try me/us. What do you want from us then?? You are not making sense. You come here and post in an open forum, question a system that is constructed with logic, without using any of your own and then give us a small window of your personal experience to support your narrative which at first sight does not makes sense.  I mean, if you are a point of swearing then I would suggest you cut your losses and humor a more gullible audience elsewhere. Good heavens.
