I think they "blessed" him and he's just been doing his thing since then. I don't think they look with an eye toward seeing if he's breaching. Maybe they would if someone called him on it, but nobody will, because ultimately they're going to likely ask Bernhard, and he's going to say "no, I am not, not in any way that I notice."

And yes to the use of dashed rules. Dumb.

Well…citing the old format isn’t really the issue here. IMO calling that picture merely suspicious is exactly why the rule won’t be enforced at all. That arm is as well placed against his chest as for the Heimlich maneuver. But like Erik said, BL would simply say he’s not anchoring and that would end the conversation. The rule never should’ve been made as it will never be enforced.
