Unluckiest city in the world continues its ways after a brief rest period (Cavs championship).

Nothing like having the best rotation in baseball and losing 2 of your best starters right before the playoffs. Awesome...

Just a small bump on the road to glory. Bartolo the great is ready to pitch 9 innings every other day if need be.

Now that the Mets where kind gods and gave the marlins their ceremonial win last night, its time to feed on fish streaks!

Going to the Indians game Friday...injuries have really killed our chances. If we can somehow get past Boston and have Salazar and Kluber healthy, then I like our chances. But Boston...gonna be tough. Been waiting for this payback for 9 years tho...

One more win and we're on to the fall classic. Nervous though, last time we were up 3-1 in the ALCS we ended up losing lol

Yeah but that was a streak you already beat this year ... 6 consecutive L's against the Red Sox in elimination games.  I wouldn't sweat it.

And by "we" I'm certain you mean "many of us who are not Mets fans".  Which makes it borderline appropriate here, but probably better on the thread that @Golfingdad has suggested.

    • Day 159 1-19 Flow drill while attempting to add arch in wrist on downswing. Not where it needs to be but felt good working on swing flow.
    • Day 1 (19 Jan 26) - after a week lay-off due to travels, felt great to get in some drills in the backyard today.  Started with lead arm only short pitches focused on squared face and light divot post ball.  Haven’t done this in a while and it showed, with some skulls and slices.  Settled into easy flighted balls - wrapped up with standard two handed swings.  Good restart to the daily drills.
    • That depends what you do within those two.  Are they your only options?   Check out Fit for Golf if you get a moment.  It's linked on the sidebar;  I did it for two years, stopped for a really bad reason, and I plan to get back to it soon.   Mike Carroll also has a great free podcast about a lot of topics in golf fitness.
    • Day 19, 1/19.  Finished work in time to spend 25 minutes hitting balls (hit 15) indoors, off a mat, into the net.  Usual focus.
    • Day 30 - 2026-01-19 Got 10 minutes in on the mat / net working on exagerrating movements I'm working on. And grip. Also worked with my friendly AI to summarize key negative tendencies I have so that I can build a personal checklist to follow. Will do more mirror work tonight.
