Looks like a strong field: http://www.pgatour.com/inside-the-field/2016/05/24/DEAN-and-DELUCA-invitational.html

I will continue my predictions based on nothing more than a mood ring (that is also a lollipop... when its gone, I'm sad) and whatever funny commercials I come across.  Actually, though, Matt Kuchar has been working his way up the leaderboard lately, so that's my predicted winner.

All these years later, I still can't be convinced that Dean & DeLuca is a real thing, because I only know it as the place where Felicity worked.

I haven't seen one in years and forgot they existed.  When I first saw the name of the tournament, I thought I had browsed to some archived page from 1999.

Im convinced Charley Hoffman will win. He will do whatever it takes. Including freaking out other players in the parking lot.

I'm concerned about Hoffman, Kuchar, and a few other golfers.  When they take their hats off, it's clear they spent a lot of time in the sun.

Yep. Colonial is a ballstrikers course, so it suits him. If Hoffman stays away the big number i think we'll see him on the leaderboard.

Just today, I was talking to a co-worker about Poland syndrome (a congenital condition where one is born without a bicep), and brought up Bryce Molder as an example of a successful athlete despite the defect. There he is atop the leaderboard.

Pretty sure he's missing a pectoral, not a bicep.  Could be both.

Spieth looked in control today, despite missing a bunch of fairways.  Good news.

You're right. I don't know why I said bicep.

Still a shot for the top 3 players in the world to all have won the last tournament they played at the same moment in time, which I don't believe has ever happened in the history of the game.  #pgatourhasneverbeenbetter

Ok, that hash tag was a little douchy, but c'mon, this shit is good.

I heave to think that if Spieth could hit fairways, he'd be running away with this thing!

What's with Reifer's pants? Is he sweating like mofo or did he just have an "accident"?

    • Day 172: mirror work for a while during SNF. Working on cleaning up the early backswing stuff. Definitely seeing the improvements I’m looking for.
    • @jxdama: Same dumb schtick since joining. Yup. Also, it's a par-73.
    • Day 97 - 2025-01-05 Showed up to something that absolutely floored me, and then was busy right through to 9:00. So, I got 5:00 in at night, at home, before bed. My rib cage hurts from a cough (ha ha, but also, f***), and I think I have a mild ear infection in my right ear. Things are just f***ing great.
    • OMG Jerry Barber shot -20 back in 1960! Let's go back and time and bitch about how easy it is to play golf. My goodness, Calvin Pete shot a -21 in 1986! Wait a second, David Duval shot -26 back in 1999! Hold up, Ernie Els shot a -31 back in 2003!!!!  (all scores at The Sentry, it is a very easy golf course for PGA Tour players).  The concept that golf in the past is this protecting par or what not is just romanticized BS. Golfer's have been tearing apart golf courses for decades. Let's have a sense of perspective to base our opinions, ok?
    • I wont  comment further except to say maybe we  can get a  -40 winner soon on these tests  of golf  skill     Hideki Matsuyama runs away with The Sentry, breaks scoring record to open new PGA Tour season Hideki Matsuyama picked up his 11th PGA career win on Sunday afternoon in Hawaii.
