Penn-State Behrend Wins Sixth Straight AMCC Championship

Well, the college team I coach shaved seven strokes off our score last year (637) to shoot 630 and win our conference (AMCC - Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference - http://www.amccsports.org/), a ten-team conference of NCAA Division III teams.

The boys won by 11 strokes over 36 holes (less than 1.5 strokes per player per round) and have won the AMCC's automatic bid the NCAA National Championship next May at Mission Inn Resort at Howey-in-the-Hills, FL (just northwest of Orlando).

The title is Penn-State Behrend's sixth straight (eighth total) and my second in a row. This year, we also had the top two individual finishers: Sean Sculley took first with 150, and Ryan Matlock took second with 152.
