For anyone here with a few par rounds to their name......do your par rounds follow similar distributions of pars/bogeys/birdies?

I don't really have any par rounds to my name, but if I had to guess, I'd say that your average par round has somewhere on the realm of 2 birdies, 2 bogeys, and close to 0 eagles and doubles.

A lot of pars, and a couple of birdies to offset the inevitable bogies.  I seldom make eagle.

Not many par rounds, but typical rounds with par or better / bogeys is usually 40/60 for rounds in the 70's

The few par rounds or better are usually very adventurous with several birds, an occasional eagle offset with a really ugly hole or two which always seem to occur.

Based on some info collected by a score tracking service I estimated a bar chart of hole result type according to HCP.

It's going to vary round by round obviously and depend on what your strengths / weaknesses are vs. the type of course, but my approximation of the expected average came out to about 11 pars, 3 birdies or better (very low eagle %), 3.5 bogies, and .5 double+.

I should've added to my post above ... the closest I've recently come to par was a +1 round that included:

10 pars, 4 birdies, 3 bogies and a double.

Does this help?

I didn't have zero eagles, but I had < 0.5%, I guess.

Also, 18 * 0.13 = 2.34, and obviously 10% is 1.8.

I've only hit par for 9 holes once.   I started with a double and had one bogie.   Three birdies made par for this 9.

The closest I came was a 38 on the back nine years ago. I made a long birdie putt on 10 and bogeyed 14. It hit me that could have 36 on the back on the 17th tee and finished bogey - bogey.
