Yes, we don't have a lot of things that will kill and/or eat you on golf courses in Michigan.

The dreaded centipede. Now that's a breathless video I'd like to see. One of those suckers slithering across a path as photographers gather to watch it slink away dangerously.

Here is a news story showing how infrequent gator related deaths are. The kid that was killed at Disney earlier this year was the first since 2007.

Kind of interesting to see elephants on that list of US deaths. I would assume that is mainly zoo keepers?

You guys will be fine in Florida. We jumped off docks and swam in lakes all the time growing up. I accidentally stepped on a gators tail wading in the lake while fishing. It was more scared than I was.

Don't be fooled, that gator in the OP can move a lot faster than you think.

My wife kinda freaked when she saw that yesterday. I pointed out that he didn't run over and gobble up the people standing there taking pictures/video. We are not their desired dinner. I don't think I'll go swimming in the lakes down here though. I like the pool in my backyard much better. ;-)

A 12' gator is a big boy.

They are surprisingly quick. One that size would have no problem catching an adult who happened to be in the water. They don't grow that big from not eating. Authorities used to remove big ones like that. Don't know if that's still the case. I'd be nervous having one that large living close to people.

There is more of a chance of contracting deadly bacteria or amoeba swimming in Florida waters than getting attacked by a shark or a gator.

Until the idiot humans start feeding them. Now there's a good idea. Go ahead and make friends with an animal that will eat it's young.

      Hey, thanks for the feedback. I do lift weights but I’m also adding yoga or Pilates for mobility and flexibility to my routine.

      It’s possible the graphite shaft has a small internal crack or a delamination. Tapping it and hearing a vibrating sound is usually a sign the shaft isn’t behaving as it should. Since the store wasn’t helpful, consider taking it to a club fitter or a pro shop that can check the shaft flex and integrity. If it’s defective, you might be able to get a replacement from the manufacturer.

      It’s interesting how much a 3D system changes your understanding. Observing top players in full detail and realizing the trail knee shouldn’t fully extend is a great example of why being open to new info is so important. I like your approach: not trying to be “right,” but trying to teach correctly based on actual evidence. Makes sense why golfers would benefit from this perspective.

      I would say both are equally not the best for golf. Is it better than nothing, sure.  Golf is an athletic motion. Professional golfers are doing a comprehensive workout routine focusing on strength, power, flexibility, stability. They might include some yoga into the routine. I would put both of them in the recovery bin, not golf enhancement bin.  If you want to increase swing speed, core strength, longevity in golf and life, then lift heavy weights.
