Interesting breakdown of Spieth's game from 2015-2017

All these data analysis/big data folks are sprouting everywhere. This one's in London. The big differential in 2017 relative to 2016 is the long game. These graphics look like football plays though, intentional?

Way too many amber circles in the 2015-2016 graph! The 2016-2017, at least so far, looks much better. All this is just a graphic way to present analytics that kind of confirm what the announcers were telling us over the weekend at Pebble. "Spieth looks stronger than last year." "He looks like he really has his legs under him." "He's hitting much crisper iron shots." Etc.

That's a very small sample size they have for 2017 though. I'd take that one with a grain of salt.

Well, yeah! That's why I said "at least so far". Obviously this full season's data will be needed for the comparison to be completely valid.
