Based on the chart, I do.  I fall between the purple and red on the chart, so my suggested yardages would range from 6250 to 6830.  The normal men's tees at my home club are right close to the 6200 Yds, Par 71.  From the back tees it's around 6600 yds.  When I'm on the road, I typically look for a yardage of 6000 to 6500 yards, but will play a little longer sometimes to change it up, but it is definitely more fun to play the shorter tees.

I voted "No, I play shorter tees" and 71-85% play the wrong tees.   I always play the same tees as the other guys although in theory I should be playing the back tees based on driving distance/length.  I find many golfers play from teeboxes where they hit hybrid too often into par 4 holes (yet, still short) and are hitting 6-7 iron on the short par 3 holes that really are designed for a wedge whereas if they moved up to the Seniors (yellow) or Red tees, they would be able to hit greens in regulation.  To keep it fun, I will sometimes hit 4 irons or 3H  off the tees if we are on the Whites.

Not sure if interesting but many years ago I was in the desert over the winter on a business trip and I brought my clubs.  I wanted to play this particular golf course from the tips.  It wasn't private or anything but one of those high end jobs.  Instead of booking a teetime with random strangers, I approached the Starter and put some money in his hand explaining I wanted to play the tips and if a group playing the tips had a no show, would he pair me up.  It took about 2 hours of putting on the putting green until I got paired up with three fellows, one named "Jason" who carries the fairway bunker off the first tee with a 3 wood.  I smoked a driver that landed in the bunker.  Some holes later, I hit 3 iron to the middle of the green on a 235 yard par 3 and he says, "what was that, a 5 iron?" and I says to him, "Right, you hit 5 iron?" and he says, "No, I hit a little 6 iron".  Some holes later, I noticed he had like 10 drivers in his bag and I asked him why and tells me they break.  I still had no idea who he was until his buddy clued me in.  He hit an ugly snapper 335 off the tee on a 595 yard par 5 and I think he hit 5 iron into the middle of the green and two putted.  This would have been in the mid or late 90's when those types of distances were unheard of. I can't recall if the Pro V1 was out or it was wound Professionals.  I'd say it is impossible for a course to be long enough for guys like that.   He was built.  I recall putting very well and making some coin on skins.
