Day 126 (05 Sep 24) - walked the front nine at home course with the “vintage set” (Toney Penna persimmon 1-3-5 woods, MacGregor Mike Souchak 4-9 irons along with. MacGregor Dbl Duty wedge, Spalding KroFlite SW, Spalding Tournament putter).  Played from my regular tees and managed a +7 43.  Key to the day was focused course management and remembering just how small the sweet spot is on all these clubs….love the challenge and dig the rewards of playing these clubs.

Day 7: September 5th, 2024

Got to the range again today. Spent a bunch of time working on where and not how.

I even played the game in which you try to hit the different distances with the random number generator.

My bag is an ever-changing combination of clubs.

A mix I am forever tinkering with.

Day 237 - Got some really good setup/backswing work in.

It’s amazing how big of a difference filming yourself can make. I saw some footage of my driver swing from this past weekend; it’s a miracle I can even reach the ball with how far away I was standing. So I worked on that and some good feels for a full backswing.

Now I just need to take that to the course this weekend for the club championship…

Day 8: September 6, 2024

Was at the range today. Didn't have a great practice. Everything "felt" off.

Got home and spent a long time in front of the mirrors trying to figure out what's not right.

My bag is an ever-changing combination of clubs.

A mix I am forever tinkering with.

Day 51: a bit of putting work during calls. Worked on making sure the handle is raised and then just start line.

Day 127 (06 Sep 24) - weekly men’s Friday round, except I kept the ole woods and irons from the day before in play.  Generated some buzz as several reminisced on when they started, others just said I was crazy,  best part, the round was pretty solid in terms of score as I pretty much played the lofts for how far a club would go and not worry about the number on the bottom of the club.
