Day 15, July 21st, 2023

Played 18 with my dad. Went 44 front 36 back. The back nine I stuck to feeling the pause in the backswing and played good.

I think I'm moving in the right direction, just really trying to take it slow and not rush the changes.

Hit the range for about 75 minutes. Still working on not shallowing the club by moving my arms towards the ball in transition. Still a work in progress. 😄

Day 263, July 21, 2023

Mirror work in the patio door while watching early British Open stuff. Exhausting day yesterday, so movements were a bit stiff/disjointed.

Erik J. Barzeski —  I knock a ball. It goes in a gopher hole. 🏌🏼‍♂️

Day 32 (22 Jul 23) - Worked on stance - feet open, closed, neutral today.  Noticed that the “slightly closed” stance I’ve been using was giving more pushes right.  So, started moving feet to more neutral.  Even hit a few with a more open stance. Nice to see the ball moving predictably to the target.

Day 38: Jul 22

Range session. First half focused on over-exaggerating an in-to-out swing path (regardless of ball strike), then practiced driver/3-wood. Good results overall.

Day 33 (23 Jul 23) - continued working on foot position (especially the lead foot), finding having it flared out more is helping come thru the ball more consistently.  Hit a few hard foam balls with 8i to rehearse this small adjustment to my stance.

    • Day 58: night putting session for about an hour. Started with lag putting and ended with putts inside 9’. I need to work on putts from 6-12’, but in a solid spot overall.
    • Birdied a different #6 today (incidentally, also a par-5, but not the same one on which I previously birdied).  Here's the funny thing though:  it's the par-5 that caused me to post my "how do I avoid bogeys?" on par-5s recently.  So I guess I still haven't parred that hole.
    • Day 20, May 24.  Played 18 today, very poor ball driving.  One GIR, and it was a 4-wood from the rough.  Several other instances of hitting a green on a full swing (and at least one full swing motion -- a 50% UW) that wasn't for GIR.   Still shot an 87 and even had a birdie (chip-in).
    • Welcome to TST.  I spent a bit of time in the UK but I had to look up Wagon Wheels.  Don't think I ever saw them.  Had to Google to see.  Couple similar items in US but Google says they are different. 😁
    • Day 264 5-24 Worked on getting chest through and arms down infront of chest. Contact isn't great yet but on video looking better.
