Day 158: another mirror work day. Worked on the same stuff - set up and downswing. Adding a little bit of speed to the downswing stuff.

Day 409, December 14, 2023

Hit about 30 shots before a long day of GEARS lessons and a bunch of PXG fittings.

Day 159: Did a stack session. Worked a bit on downswing stuff in breaks. Hoping for the snow to melt soon so I can get on a range to film. Next week is looking good for that, fortunately.

Day 19: 12/15/2023

Okay, so this morning I did my overspeed training. Then I also went to the outdoor range on lunch. I worked on my priority piece first. They worked through the bag, working on my priority piece. Lastly I got into a wedges only closes to the pin contest with one of the guys at the range. He's a good wedge player which is why I challenged him. I felt pretty good because I was able to hold my own. In the end, he won. But I kept it close. It came down to the last target.

Day 410, December 15, 2023

Played 14 holes outside at Whispering Woods today with @DrizZzY and @NatalieB (and Beewee). Hit some good shots. Still not worried about the downswing stuff (though the trip I'm taking in early January will throw a small wrench in my plans).

Day 206 - Dry reps focused on my leg movement (and lack thereof)

Day 6 (15 Dec 23) - played 18 at Minnesott today.  Was solo and following the Friday Men’s group, spent a lot of time in the que, so lots of free putts all across the greens, used the same to work on pace and reading of greens.  Probably averaged 10 practice putts per hole….a lot of rolls with the putter.

Day 22- Did backswing and downswing drills for a good 20 minute session.

Day 411, December 16, 2023

Little bit of practice after the Junior Elite stuff for the day, and after BRCT came for a check-in.

Day 7 (16 Dec 23) - Hit foam balls in backyard with grandson.  Kept it loose, quiet swing thoughts - focused on making solid contact.

Day 160: did the yardstick putting drill for a while. Generally, it went pretty well.

Day 23- Worked on backswing and downswing drills.

Day 161: did an hour trackman session. Shot 75 at The Old Course. And then worked on my priority piece for a bit after that. Really too bad that it’s December, because I was striking the ball really well.

Day 412, December 17, 2023

Had to wake up at 5:00 to get Natalie and Carey, so I went to Junior Elite early and got some practice in for 45 minutes. Backswing with a pause at the top, at which time I'd do a little bit of downswing stuff.

Day 8 (17 Dec 23) - Nor’easter today - so worked on putting w/metal yardstick drill inside. Quickly becoming a fave putting drill to deliver face square to promote a complete roll down the yardstick - this one has painted numbers so you get a soothing zip sound when you roll the distance (great auditory feedback).

Day 24- Slow backswing drills with short practice club.

Day 20: 12/17/2023:

I missed yesterday so I put in some extra work today. Hit the indoor putting mat first thing this morning. Then spent time in the garage hitting balls into the net, working almost entirely on my priority piece. 
This evening I decided to grab a 7 iron and work on slow motion swings in front of the mirror. Most of my mirror work focuses on my rib cage and my hips.

Day 9 (18 Dec 23) - Spent some time with the old 5h (Nike CPR) - working on maintaining a quiet head and weight forward.  Yard was tough to navigate as we had 6" of rain yesterday at the house with the N'easter that blew through.
