Day 76 (27 Feb 24) - Setup and preshot rehearsal work today with the 7i - hitting a few hard foam balls.

Day 5: 2/27/2024

Went to the range today. 
Spent some time working on my priority pieces, then "played" my tournament course on the range. 
It was a beautiful day, so I enjoyed it.

Day 90- Dry swings in the yard before the wind and cold came through. Slow, short swings

Day 62: 2/27/24

Stack Full Speed program training session 2. Same high speed as the first. A little damp in my driveway this evening and I slipped a few times. That said I felt my fastest swings were fine.

Day 77 (28 Feb 24) - Today was more of the bump and run drills with the 7i along with chips with the 50* wedge.  Focused on a slightly open stance (i.e. foot alignment) to better fly / roll the ball on line to the pin/target.

Day 6: 2/28/2024

Spent time in front of the mirror working on my backswing. 
As usual I like to use no club, a piece of PVC, a club across my collarbone, and then finally a club normally. 

My bag is an ever-changing combination of clubs. 

A mix I am forever tinkering with.

Day 78 (29 Feb 24) - Leap year day at the golf course - my son and I had it pretty much to ourselves.  Shot a solid 40 front / 41 back for 81.  It was a good day to play….

Day 7: 2/29/2024

Got a lot of work in today. 
Did my backswing work in front of the mirrors. Then I did some gates on the putting mat using the perfect putt as a target. Simply repeated an 8 footer through the small gate until I got the ball to stop in the perfect putt cup. I did that two times. I also got to the range where I did a little work on my priority pieces, but spent most of my time working on where, not how, I'm trying to gauge where I am right now.

Worked for only ten minutes today. Not a lot of time. But, they were good, and solid. Faster downswings start tomorrow!

      Is it? I bought the Stack radar to replace my PRGR based on what Stack told me! When I am swinging for speed, the PRGR would miss 50%-80% of my backswings due to a higher speed. The stack seldom misses those- at least for me.

      As an analyst by nature, I would like to compare the scores under both systems. It is something we can easily do if we have the data. I actually thought the new system was less fair to those whose game was on the decline - like mine! Old: Best 10 of last 20 scores with the .96 multiplier. Course handicap excluded course rating and overall par. New: Best 8/20. Course handicap includes course rating -par. My understanding is Stableford caps scores at Net double bogey like stroke play. If so, handicap should be slower to rise because you are only using 8 versus 10 scores. If I am missing something, I am curious enough to  want to understand what that may be. My home course tees that I play are 72.1/154 now. My best score out here is 82. When my game started to decline, my handicap didn’t budge for 13 rounds because of good scores in my first 8! I know I am an anomaly but my handicap has increased almost 80% in the past few years (with only a few rounds this year). For a few months I knew I was losing every bet because my game was nowhere near my handicap. I suspect I have steamrolled a few nuances but that shouldn’t matter much. When I have modeled this with someone playing the same tees and course, one good round, or return to form, will immediately reduce the handicap by some amount.
