Day 109: 4/14/24 Masters Sunday 

Stack Full Speed Spectrum session 23/24. Measuring speed 2 mph below high speed after a long day- early church and plenty of yard work. Good session and thought I might hit my high speed tonight.

April 14 - Day 30. Woo hoo! 30 days straight.
 

Stack return to form (flared my front foot and it helped a lot) followed by slow technique work using evolvr drills.

Day 279: went to the range with my daughter. Hit a few balls, going slowly with feels for my hip rotation. Then went and putted with her on the green. Not my best practice, but a lot of fun!

Day 122 (14 Apr 24) - Masters Sunday - Took a few minutes to work with 9i and hard foam balls in backyard, focusing on ball position at setup.  More work to be done, progress in happening due to the consistency of the shot dispersion (circle tightening up - side to side and back to front) - given limited flight balls may not fly exactly like regular balls.

Day 531, April 15, 2024

Practiced hitting 8I to a pretty well-known hole here…

It reset to aiming at the flag every time, so I just started aiming myself to the left and hitting it that way. That's why the path says -5.6. It was probably a path of about -2° to my actual target line, maybe a little less.

8I was a bit much, though. I was gripping down a little in the end.

Day 51: 4/15/2024

Played 9 holes for the first day of golf league tonight. It wasn't that pretty. Driver was a bit wild early. Settled down later. Left putts not only short but really short for the first 7 holes. It was nice to actually play golf for the first time this year. 

My bag is an ever-changing combination of clubs. 

A mix I am forever tinkering with.

Day 123 (15 Apr 24) - Picked back up 7i and resumed working on preshot routine, hitting a few hard foam balls along the way.  Seeing more consistent dispersion.

Played 18 holes at WW with @DrizZzY. It was productive, even if the first few holes (we really should warm up by at least making ONE swing 😄) weren't.

      Is it? I bought the Stack radar to replace my PRGR based on what Stack told me! When I am swinging for speed, the PRGR would miss 50%-80% of my backswings due to a higher speed. The stack seldom misses those- at least for me.

      As an analyst by nature, I would like to compare the scores under both systems. It is something we can easily do if we have the data. I actually thought the new system was less fair to those whose game was on the decline - like mine! Old: Best 10 of last 20 scores with the .96 multiplier. Course handicap excluded course rating and overall par. New: Best 8/20. Course handicap includes course rating -par. My understanding is Stableford caps scores at Net double bogey like stroke play. If so, handicap should be slower to rise because you are only using 8 versus 10 scores. If I am missing something, I am curious enough to  want to understand what that may be. My home course tees that I play are 72.1/154 now. My best score out here is 82. When my game started to decline, my handicap didn’t budge for 13 rounds because of good scores in my first 8! I know I am an anomaly but my handicap has increased almost 80% in the past few years (with only a few rounds this year). For a few months I knew I was losing every bet because my game was nowhere near my handicap. I suspect I have steamrolled a few nuances but that shouldn’t matter much. When I have modeled this with someone playing the same tees and course, one good round, or return to form, will immediately reduce the handicap by some amount.
