I use as many as I need depending on the course I'm playing and where I end up hitting the ball. I average about 12 but once in a while I'll use all 14.

Typical Par 4 - Typically Driver/3i Hybrid off tee then 9i,PW,52*,56* or 60* in depending on how close.  Putter obviously.  Rest of the irons see more work on Par 3s that are longer than what I usually have left after a drive or on a par 5 second shot.

Putter, Hybrid, Driver, 3W, 8 iron, 5 iron.

At my most frequent course, I almost always use the 8 iron for two par 3's and the 5 iron for two. On par 5's, my second shot is 3W if the lie is good and the hybrid if it isn't. I use the 3w on a few par 4 tees, and the hybrid on a couple. I use my wedges as the need arises, but these vary depending on conditions. I don't really have a go to wedge, it just depends on what I am trying to do.

Main clubs.... Driver, 3/4 wood, 60° and putter. Those clubs are multiple use, the rest are one or two shots each. I do wish I could add another club though...

Driver, putter, 5 wood, 8 iron, and 50°wedge.

I think  with just these clubs, my score would be the same as always.

My 5 wood gets a lot of use:

 Tee shot on par 4s.

 220 yard approach to green.

100-150 yard punch  from under trees.

Chipping from thick fringe around the green.
