Sned's was on fire and throwing Darts.

He rolled a few long putts, #12 - 26'3", #13 - 26'2", #14 - 21', #15 - 14'2" 4 birds and one Bogey to start the round on the back.
Then had approach shots on the front,   #1 - 3'11", #2 - 2'3", #3 - 5'3", #5 - 2'3" #6 - Holes 176 yrds, #7 - 2'7", #9 - 20'4"
6 birds and an Eagle on the Front, Shoots 27... Amazing...

I hope to read the strokes gained parts of Snedeker's great round.  He had a 59 despite a bogey.  That's awesome.

So the article I read noted he "ECLIPSED" the previous record.........................of 60

I guess that's a word.

(I hope to see it tonight on replay - those rounds are really cool - especially the approaches)

      Hi @RetiredOldMan!  I am glad to see you are still playing and having good scores.  I hope that when I am 79, I am not only able to play, but still able to produce as good scores as you have been doing.   I look forward to hearing more of your success and your opinion of the senior flex shafts.

      Hello Golfing Buddies, It has been awhile since I posted but I am the Retired Old Man that asked for advice because I suffered two "T.I.A.'s about switching from playing right handed to playing left handed.  I purchased a Callaway Edge Left handed golf clubs. I changed the grips to oversize grips.  Well, two weeks ago and still at 79 years old, I shot a 44 and 47 on a small course in my hometown.  I am currently changing my shafts from regular flex to Senior flex.  So, you can see' it can be done!       Probably since the golfer has to swing the club back and up. The hands have to move back and up. You can feel them go back and up just by turning the shoulders and bending the right arm, because it brings your hands towards your right shoulder.  The difference is if you maintain width or not. Less width means a shorter feeling swing path so the more you need to lift the arms. Being as someone who gets the right arm bend at 110+ degrees, it's 100% a timing issue. I am use to like a 1.5+ second backswing. It probably should be like 1 second at most. Half a second or more will feel like an eternity. I have had swings where I keep my right arm straighter and I am still trying to time the downswing based on the old tempo.  Ideally, for me, it is probably going to be a much quicker and shorter (in duration) backswing, while keeping the right elbow straighter. Which also means more hinging to get swing length without over swinging.
