Where did you buy them from? It is not uncommon for certain retailers to have a slight variation. The grips look like Mike grips. The covert 2.0 had white grips

They probably weren't brand new clubs.

So, they were probably re-gripped by the former owner or whatever.

Regardless, they were at least two years old. The original grips could have been dry, firm, slick. The store could have replaced them for that.

Nike hasn't made a golf club for over two years. They weren't "new."

What'd you pay for them?

I wouldn’t worry. Dicks Sporting goods sometimes sells slight variations of name brand clubs. Same performance just something small changed like color or shaft

We have similar things over here. Golf stores often have end of line stock that is slow moving. Clubs are in perfect condition but grips aren't due to being stored in a cold, dusty stock room for ages. I once bought a GEL putter from Direct golf. They had regripped the them with bog standard grips as they had been stored for about 3 years.

Think of it this way, black grips dont show the dirt as bad a white ones. Nice clubs by the way.

      Day 1 (19 Jan 26) - after a week lay-off due to travels, felt great to get in some drills in the backyard today.  Started with lead arm only short pitches focused on squared face and light divot post ball.  Haven’t done this in a while and it showed, with some skulls and slices.  Settled into easy flighted balls - wrapped up with standard two handed swings.  Good restart to the daily drills.
