Just got my gamegolf live and am installing the tags and I have no idea where to put the putter tag. The superstroke grip has a steel cap that can either be just a cover or a counterweight. Any solutions?

Glue it on. Cut the screw part off.

There’s the support article on their site about this.

I cut the screw part off, and used 3M double-sided tape. Have had it on for over a year without issue.

I went with the tape compared to the glue simply for ease of removal if I decided to change grips or putters.

I think this is the link @iacas was referring to.

FWIW my "glue" is silicone glue, so it's easy to remove, too, but stays on just fine in my experience(s).

Thanks for posting the link.

I'm kind of tempted to do this for all the clubs.

After I searched these boards and didn’t find an answer I posted this topic and then I googled it 🙂 found the topic linked above.

What I did, because I didn’t want to ruin a tag was just take my counterweight out and made a ball from duct tape in the shaft and then another layer over the duct tape just to be safe.

So rather than "ruin" a tag, you ruined the putter (by removing the counterweight)?

We’ll see 🙂

there are two factors to this:

1st off I’m a terrible putter and in 2 hours I’ll be playing a round and will see if this affects me in any way

2nd when I bought the grip I got a screw with a counterweight and just a plain screw cover - I installed the counterweight but never did any comparing with/without

3rd “destroying” my putter is reversible. Destroying the tag isn’t.

I'm in the same situation. I have a superstroke grip but wanted to find a way to mount the tag without cutting/gluing or ruining the tag or my grip.

What I did was I purchased the silicon/rubber cap/covers that you put on the legs of tables/chairs to help prevent scratches

Not a Game Golf tag but I drilled a suitable hole in the metal in the end of my putter grip and screwed the Arccos tag in.
