Not yet; time will tell.

I have not watched a single NFL game in my (European) life so far - I can still be swayed.

Mavericks maybe, although I moved here too late and missed Dirk Nowitzki.

Tragic;  the NFL on Sky Sports is fantastic.  Good British NFL commentary is almost as good as the Youtube videos of bad British NFL commentary.

I'm a big fan of the idea of adopting the local sports teams of a city that one moves to, provided the move was because you like where you move (so, pretty much the opposite of my move to Los Angeles a few years ago ... and my previous move to Los Angeles ... and the one before that).

I've kind of done this in the opposite order, eventually deciding to root for teams associated with the city where I will probably move when I retire.  I may have picked a good time because two of their teams (one in a sport I actually watch) have won championships since I made this decision, one of whom is playing for another championship tonight.

You just moved to Dallas because you like the area and it serves the needs you moved for.  Now is also probably a great time to start rooting for the Cowboys, in a "buy low" sense:  they haven't had much success in a while, but the post-Jerry era is nigh.

This is probably straddling the border of off-topic, though, since your goal in the move was golf, not football.

Great point and that's what I considered, too. I already checked tickets for Cowboys and Mavericks games in the upcoming season (I am a big NBA fan actually).

Speaking of golf - recently the PGA relocated its headquarters to Frisco near Dallas.

It is interesting that you have a team rooting retirement plan 😉

    • Day 430 - 2025-12-04 Slow motion backswings (with chippy shots) with AlmostGolf balls.
    • Day 24 (4 Dec 25) - Spent about an hour working with the new 55° wedge in the backyard.  Kept all shots to under 20yds.  Big focus - not decelerating thru downswing and keeping speed up with abbreviated backswing.  Nothing like hitting a low flighted chip with plenty of check spin and then purpose to float a pitch of similar distance.
    • Day 114 12-4 Put some work in on backswing, moving the hips correctly, then feeling over to lead side. Didn't hit any balls was just focused on keeping flowy and moving better. I'll probably do another session tonight and add in some foam balls.
    • Didn't say anything about your understanding in my post.  Well, if you are not insisting on alignment with logic of the WHS, then no.  Try me/us. What do you want from us then?? You are not making sense. You come here and post in an open forum, question a system that is constructed with logic, without using any of your own and then give us a small window of your personal experience to support your narrative which at first sight does not makes sense.  I mean, if you are a point of swearing then I would suggest you cut your losses and humor a more gullible audience elsewhere. Good heavens.
