Left 9 Iron Outside for a Month

Noticed it was missing from bag last week, thought I lost it, turns out it was outside on the floor in the yard, exposed to a cold snap and a couple of snowstorms. Did I hose the club? There's a Game Golf tag, which I wonder if it's waterproof, the Pure Grip, which I wonder if it has lost its tackiness, no problem, can re-grip, and also the glue holding the head to the shaft. Terrible at keeping track of clubs.

You can tell if the grip has lost its tackiness by holding it and feeling its tackiness.  No need to wonder.

Hit it and find out the rest.  Don't think cold matters as much as excessive heat.

Dry it off and check it for water damage, signs of rust, etc. Hit it somewhere it will be safe if the head comes flying off. If you're worried about it, pull the head and reassemble the whole club.

I think it's probably fine.

As others have said, heat is more the enemy than cold. It is probably fine.

It should be fine. If you get a little tarnish/light rust on the chrome of a steel shaft you can buff it out with a 000 steel wool. For the grip you can temporarily recondition it with some dish soap and an abrasive dish washing pad in warm water, rinse and dry, until you can get it changed out. Irons are tough.

This.  It's held together by epoxy so about 1000*F of heat might be of concern.  I'm no expert on epoxy but I doubt some cold temperature would compromise the epoxy to the point of being brittle enough to fail.  I mean it can't be THAT much colder than the garage if that's where you keep the clubs.

Epoxy used for golf clubs generally starts breaking down around 250°F.

I have heard of clubs becoming loose from being kept in the trunk of a car in the desert, so there exists the possibility of weakening the bond from prolonged exposure to temperatures below that threshold. Not that @nevets88 has that issue or anything.

Good point, guess I was thinking of torch flame temperature.

I had a trusty putter ruined when I left it in below zero temps for a few days. I brought in from -20 below zero to a heater outlet, and the two metals warped. 

While at an auto wrecking yard with my Grandson looking for a part for his car, he found a bag of Titleist clubs in a trunk. The counter guy gave him the clubs. The car had been in the yard from May till atleast October. This in the Las Vegas triple digit heat. He used them immediately with no problems. 

I guess it just depends on how well the club was manufactured as to how the elements react to them.
