problem with sweaty hands/moisture?
Golfaddict247 replied to King Cobra II's topic in Instruction and Playing Tips
old thread, but I thought I'd chime in as a tester/experimenter of golf grip products. I have had a lot of issues with humidity and sweaty gloves and bought/tried everything under the sun. The only thing that has ever worked for me was the Grip Boost Golf Spray. The Amazon link is right here: http://amzn.to/2lHZk5h -
Music on the Course - When Did This Become a Thing?
Golfaddict247 replied to wedge player's topic in Golf Talk
I am usually listening to music on my iphone through headphones in one ear --- this way the music helps me focus on my shot without disturbing others.... -
Never, but came close a couple times!

Why is golf still viewed as a sport for the "minority"
Golfaddict247 replied to RussUK's topic in Golf Talk
I agree completely. Football can be just as expensive too. Shoulder pads, helmets etc... and football gloves can even run up to $60! -

Yeah, I saw that this sweaty glove grip thing was mentioned in other threads as a huge pain. I suffered through it in the humid DC summer for a while...then I got Grip Boost , which was a moisture resistant grip spray for golf. They specifically advertise it as "sweat proof" and in my experience it really did hold up. Anyways, it's on Amazon if you're curious: https://www.amazon.com/Grip-Boost-Sweat-Proof-Enhancing/dp/B01K9D4080/ Good luck!

sweating and golf gloves
Golfaddict247 replied to David L Yskes's topic in Balls, Carts/Bags, Apparel, Gear, Etc.
I definitely have had the same problem with sweaty hands for a while.... especially since I live near DC/Virginia (it basically used to be a swamp). What really helped me has been the Grip Boost Golf Spray. You just spray your glove or the grip on your club. I found out about it in a review on hackers paradise http://www.thehackersparadise.com/grip-boost-golf-spray-review/ Anyways, it is on Amazon, if you want to try it: http://tinyurl.com/GripBoostGolf Good luck with it. -
I usually use it till I lose it, ha!

diet is really most important for shedding the weight. It's all about having healthy eating habits day in and day out. Avoid snacks throughout the day and just try to have 3 healthy meals everyday... -Jim

Proper Grip Pressure (It's Firmer than You Might Think)
Golfaddict247 replied to iacas's topic in Swing Thoughts
"Grip pressure is too broad a description since different fingers/thumbs can exert pressure just by being place incorrectly. If you are holding the club correctly you can squeeze the hell out of it .You need to squeeze the club at times when trying to firm up the wrists which are the culprits especially in the short game." ^ So true .... thanks for making a great point on here
