WHats the longest driver --i want names too. The big bertha 454 the hibore xls cobra speed ls the burner the 983k ??

Be honest wats the longest dont be gullible

Im calling the 983k the longest ever made

"People think the size of the head is most important. Wrong. It's getting a quality shaft. test different shafts to see which goes the straightest. Also, more degrees of loft on the head is better than less. Eleven degrees is about right."

Not trying to spoil the fun here, but the term of "longest" is kind of vague. I believe, the main reason lies on the shaft characteristics, length and of course it should be properly fitted for the hitter. Another reason is how good the golf ball performs in relation to driver's head characteristics.

If I'm not mistaken, the GD panelists for Hot List mentioned that even ball hit by robot produces different results in number of times being hit and also on different days with the same driver.

My bad for going so technical.

Anyway, for me the longest driver (I've tried) is TaylorMade SuperQuad.

What's in the bag:
Driver: r7 SuperQuad 10.5° ~ UST Proforce V2 65g Regular

It's not a fair question. Too many variables. I just know I can hit my FT3 past Nike and R7. But I'm sure there's a guy out there who can hit his R7 past an FT3. You can only figure out what YOU can hit longest.

I used to hit an Integra 400 CC Forged Titanium 9* with a Proforce 65 UST shaft and that thing was deeeeep!! I use to think that a $350 Name Brand driver would go even further though so I sold the Integra and bought a Callaway. Safe to say it was a mistake... but the guy that I sold the Integra to caved it's face in after a week so I guess I dodged a bullet. I have since used a ton of different clubs but have recently fallen in love with my 905R. I have only hit it in a golf dom due to the snow outside but I have a feeling that it is going to be the longest driver that I have ever used.
I have never had any luck with Taylor Made (except for the 320, but that is outdated now). I just can't hit the Taylor Made clubs straight and they feel like duds to me. It's all just personal experience though on what clubs people will hit the best.

I'm probably a little biased, but I've got to go with the Burner (for me it is longer than the superquad). Of course, I haven't hit them all.

With a stock shaft, it was the Titleist 907D1 followed by the Cobra X Speed driver.

With a custom made shaft, it's the Titleist 905T. It's only 400CC's but I've hit some bombs with that driver. I'd really like to try the new 905R with my current shaft.

I had the exact same question.

So I went to several sites that had customer reviews and read all the reviews of all the drivers that had them.

The answer was obvious.

Burner, I have one, but a guy at my club hit a demo burner 365 pin high but slightly left, and on the next hole hit it 350. Wind wasn't a factor.
