im not really sure what i want yet. maybe a new driver b/c my taylormade r7 425 has seen better days. im looking at the tour burner, r7 limited, ft-iq and the 909's. I also need a taylormade tp 3 wood. and new hybrid. i like my r7 irons so i dont think ill lose those until the spring. any thoughts on what i should get? my brithday is on jan 4th as well so i can get something then.

Still waiting to hear more about the 909D3 and demo that and the iQ. To be really optimistic I'd say a mixed set of Mizuno's (3-4 MX-200; 5-7 MP-52; and 8-PW MP-67's), but that's not gonna happen (sadly).

I need to replace my driver since its got a nice dent on heel, either a new Burner or Titleist driver idk which yet. Need to get my irons and wedges fitted correctly and need to put new shafts in my irons since I need stiff flex so I've been told.

Might I ask why, particularly given the price and functionality of the Leupold GX-I?

I don't have anything on my golf christmas list. If I want something throughout the year, I buy it. My wife and I don't really relegate present-giving to Christmas time only. I'm just hoping we don't have such a late, long winter like last year.

Might I ask why, particularly given the price and functionality of the Leupold GX-I?

I've read the reviews of the Leupold, yours included, and looked at getting it, but I live in Canada and they have a total of 5 dealers in all of Canada, none that convenient for me. I could buy it through The Golf Warehouse, but then I would start dealing with duties and taxes etc... bringing it across the border. I have used the 1500 and liked it, so it boils down to convenience of purchase for me. If I could get my hands on the GX-I and give it a try, and buy it locally, I probably would.

two words.... STRIPPER TOURNAMENT. Every year a strip club puts on a 4 man scramble. Rent your own lady caddy and all the cervesa you can drink.

My swing thoughts:

- Negative thinking hurts more than negative swinging.
- I let my swing balance me.
- Full extension back and through to the target. - I swing under not around my body. - My club must not twist in my swing. - Keep a soft left knee

Nothing that I want. If there is something I want, I save up money for it and then buy it. The closest thing I have to a golf wish is for my new driver, 3 wood, and hybrids to arrive before my golf trip at the end of December. I'm leaving on the 28th, and going to play 3 or 4 rounds in as many days and having the new clubs in time would be great.
