I lost my putter like two weeks ago, and and uncle and some cousins are over and they offered to get a new putter tomorrow! We're going to a nearby golf store, and I was wondering if anyone had some suggestions for good putters to buy? Of course I'll test it out at the store, but I was wondering if you guys could give me first hand opinions. Thanks!

I really like my Bettinardi, but they are pretty pricey.
Id give a Ping Anser a shot if you are looking for a blade. At $90 the price is tough to beat and IMO a Ping Anser is just as good as any Cameron, Bettinardi or any other expensive putter.

Whats in my :sunmountain: C-130 cart bag?

If your looking for a blade, try a TM Rossa Daytona, White Hot Tour #1. Also try Ping Ansers...

For Mallets, I'm not sure for around 100$.

Best way is to try as many as POSSIBLE.

Sumo 10.5*
R7 Draw 15* 3W
3dx 17* 2H
Pi5 3-PW
Spin Milled Vokey 54* CG11 60* C-01

Ping Karsten Anser 2 is right in your budget but not sure how you will like it compared to your Odyssey. Also, Odyssey Sabertooth is a nice 2-ball putter if you don't mind the look of it.

I seriously have to resist the urge to tell you to get what I have! It boils down to blade v. mallet, insert v. milled, $ v. $$$. Try every stinking putter they have would really be my answer. This sounds corny, but you'll know which putter is the right one when it's in your hands.

When I first saw the Rossa Spider I wondered who would be seen with such an ugly, expensive thing. Several months later I nonchalantly tried it and fell deeply in love. Others probably feel differently about it. It's all about getting the putter in your hands at the store.

Ben Hogan is my swing coach.

I lost my putter like two weeks ago,!

Best thing that ever happened to you

Now is the time to buy a Rife putter. Best I have ever used. Got one a few weeks back and literally, overnight, shaved 4-5 strokes off my score. 40% of Champions Tour players can't be wrong. None are paid to use Rife putters by the way. Read more on the below thread.... http://thesandtrap.com/forum/showthread.php?t=23034 .

I like the Scotty Cameron Newport 2 for the balance and I like the Yonex ADX forged blade putter for feel and feedback. I bought both between $100 - $160 each years ago.

If you go to the golf store, I would consider the Bettinardi for look and feel.

Make sure that you get the right length. test it for 3 - 4 footer and 30 - 40 footer.

You need a putting green on an uphill lie, and shoot at it from all four sides. This will tell you all you need to know about the putter you want. I really like the new midweight Heavy putters out right now. They are a medium weight and very accurate. I am sticking with the Wilson Kirk Currie mid mallet putter. I like heavy putters with large grips, so that leaves out most putters on the market for me. Adjustable weight putters are the ticket.

I agree on the Rife. Awesome putters. Check out the TM Rossa Fontana. It isn't a blade or a mallet, it's pretty much a hybrid between the two. I think it retails for $119. Last night I putted with the new TM Spider w/ agsi and it feels awesome. I think it is $150.

The Heavy Putter C2-DF has been a revelation for me, and they can be had for $50. Golf Galaxy will match the online price, even though the sticker says $169. I've found I much prefer a putter with some heft, the Heavy Putters do exactly what they're supposed to-take your wrists largely out of the equation. For more traditional putters I prefer the PING Anser 2 and the Zing models.

I dunno, I bought a wilson staff 8875 mallet putter a month ago, and I love it. 130$, tax in. Theres nothing spectacular about it, ive never seen any reviews on it, but I just damn well love it and putt well with it.

Although I do have my eye on a Scotty Cameron, but I cant justify the price with an Oddyssee putter already sitting in the corner. Though, when my putting goes south, I might switch back to the 2 ball to see if I can get my head in it.

In the Ogio Kingpin bag:

Titleist 913 D2 9.5* w/ UST Mamiya ATTAS 3 80 w/ Harrison Shotmaker & Billy Bobs afternarket Hosel Adaptor (get this if you don't have it for your 913)
Wilson Staff Ci-11 4-GW (4I is out of the bag for a hybrid, PW and up were replaced by Edel Wedges)
TaylorMade RBZ 5 & 3 Fairway Woods

Cobra Baffler T-Rail 3 & 4 Hybrids

Edel Forged 48, 52, 56, 60, and 64* wedges (different wedges for different courses)

Seemore Si-4 Black Nickel Putter
