If Tiger can get one part of his game working (irons, short game, or putting) he'll be fine. Yesterday, the only thing going for him was the driver, and that's not enough to get it done. He's played better with worse driving before.

He will definetly make the cut, no doubt about it. Opened with 2 birdies, one eagle and then another 2 birdies! That man is just amazing.

The back nine is supposedly the easier of the two, but he's making the most of it so far.

Yesterday was his second worst score ever on this course, and he was only 1 shot out of the cut even then. And to answer the question - no, he doesn't miss the cut.

Holy moly, that's one hell of a back 9. 5 birds, and eagle, and one bogey (coming from a 70 foot putt).

Is there anyway to watch this now? I know it's on the Golf Channel at 3pm Eastern, but I'd like not to have to wait, if possible.

Meanwhile, John Daly scored a 10 on a par 5 and is currently +11 on this round, with 6 holes to play, even after two early birdies.

I would say he has mentally checked out. How many more sponsor exemptions can he wrangle like this?

He's 8 under with 3 to go so I'm pretty sure he'll make the cut. Went from 95th to 7th in 11 holes. He started with 5 birdies and an eagle on the back and has one birdie and the rest pars on the front with 3 to go.

I think he figured something out since yesterday.

Tiger's jumped to tied 3 after -9 for the day, the other players has to pay darn good for Tiger to miss the cut.

It seems like John Daly doesn't even try anymore, he gives up to easily, just like me.

Wish I could watch this tournament, seems like it can get interesting. Listening to XM 146 will have to do this time. Strange how Tiger plays mediocre on the first round, then go on to shoot -9 the next. He'd be at -15 with a good first day.

He shot a 63 today and is -10 so he's right in it and will probably win this thing. He had a bad putting day yesterday. I can't wait to see what he did today when I get home.
