Easy to knock the guy because he's play X-18 irons, but seriously, maybe he use to play muscle backs and that's how he knows. In fact, maybe he hurt his hands so much he had to move to the X-18s...

Maybe he has but I dont hit every shot on the sweet spot and Ive never had my irons hurt my hands on any shot. Although they have a muscle cut Im not sure if that matters really.

I agree that not every off center shot will hurt... but honestly I think he was exaggerating just a bit. With the move to muscle backs, I think you'll find some shots will hurt your hands more than they would with a cavity back club... Says the guy playing Hogan Apex Plus irons.

Its funny that you care to judge my ball striking ability by the clubs I play. Maybe, when I was a high handicapper, like yourself, they fit my game. Maybe I have played several recent rounds with the Titleist Blades to help me choose between AP2's and 710 MB's or CB's.....

uhh, ok. I wasnt judging your ball striking ability in any way shape or form nor judging you by your handicap, lol. You handicap is better than mine. The only thing I was hinting at was you dont play blades from looking at your sig so you dont really have experience to say they hurt your hands. but you said, you have been demoing them lately so. Like I said Ive never had them hurt my hands. If you hit a off shot, it can feel a little dull. I just dont think there is such a drastic difference in forgiviness with a slight cavity back like people make it out to be. If your swing isnt good your iron wont make up for it even if it has a cavity back, the result will still be poor

Hurt is a relative term. Will it hurt (and sting) as much as hitting the end of a wooden baseball bat when it's 30* out? No, but it will be a sort of dead feeling and your hands might sting a little if it is cold and/or you are using 2 piece balls or range balls.

yes some tour pros are using some cavity back but the vast majority wont switch from blades. Look at titleists website and see for yourself of the players endorsed, 90% are playing blades.

3 of the first 5 are playing CB's or AP2's so IDK about 90%.

some have a 3 iron that is a CB or the AP2. Thats why it will say iron CB then the next line iron MB. There are a few like that

jesus. just say it like it is man. we can see right through it. you bought the blades cuz they're cool and they're mizunos. you previously bought the AP2's because they were cool and they were titleists. A few months or so from now, you'll have a new set of irons and you'll make the same posts. give it a rest.
