Did anyone see the move de Jonge pulled on his caddy after the 18th hole on Sunday?

1. Storms off green.
2. Throws putter on the ground.
3. As caddy is picking up the putter, Jonge picks up his bag to get something out.
4. As the caddy stands up and is about to put the putter into the bag, Jonge knocks down the bag and storms off again.

Is he known for this? How many players treat theirs caddies this way? What a douche.

I don't think he's really known for anything much, other than maybe being from somewhere that most people can't find on a map. Sounds like a real dick move -- though no idea if it's a pattern or just one real bad day.

Stretch.

You didn't hear the whole story. The caddy actually stood in front of the hole while de Jonge was putting and kicked the ball away just as it was about to go in. It was clearly his fault. What an ass.

I think Robert Allenby is the one who is mostly known for being a complete jerk when it comes to caddies. But then, he's a jerk about just about everything.

In the race of life, always back self-interest. At least you know it's trying.

Did this happen in a tournament or a practice round? If a tournament... where did he find his caddy, cause he's an idiot. On top of that.... why did he even putt the ball with his caddy standing in front of the hole? Something sounds a little fishy.

My swing thoughts:

- Negative thinking hurts more than negative swinging.
- I let my swing balance me.
- Full extension back and through to the target. - I swing under not around my body. - My club must not twist in my swing. - Keep a soft left knee

I think you seem to have missed out on the fact that jamo was just trying to be funny.

(The first post says it was on Sunday... the third round.)

Yeah, my bad. I thought I made it outrageous enough that no body would believe me. As someone who has caddied a bunch of times, I know that caddies are rarely at fault, yet we take a lot of unnecessary crap.
