Does he have a good record there? I'm pulling for Ricky Barnes to get on the leaderboard because he's pretty popular these days.

For those that like sports betting, I will likely be playing a good sized amount fading Luke Donald this week.....just a great, great "go against" spot in my opinion....lots of reasons.

Anyone else out there bet golf match-ups?

Fred Couples looks really young when he's playing on the Champions Tour, and really old when he's playing next to Dustin Johnson. That is all.

In my UnderArmour Links stand bag...

Driver: '07 Burner 9.5° (stiff graphite shaft)
Woods: SasQuatch 17° 4-Wood (stiff graphite shaft)
Hybrid: 4DX Ironwood 20° (stiff graphite shaft)Irons/Wedges: Apex Edge 3-PW, GW, SW (stiff shaft); Carnoustie 60° LWPutter: Rossa AGSI+ Corzina...

Rory finishes with the lead after round 1. For about the millionth time in his career. All he needs to do now is learn how to finish these events also in the lead. He's only 22, plenty of time to perfect that

I went yesterday for the first round.. Followed dustin johnson an couples, couples kept talking about how much his hands were bothering him. Man can dustin johnson bomb it. Just watching how far he was outdriving couples and Stadler was amazing.

I love that we can now watch so much golf online.  I'm watching the Memorial tournament on one monitor and (kind of) working on the other here at work.

Steve Stricker still has six holes to play after the weather delay, but he has this championship well under control. Assuming he does wrap this tournament up, here's a question. Stricker currently has nine PGA Tour wins to his credit. He won the WGC Match Play in 2001, but there's an asterisk next to that victory: the tournament was held in Australia immediately after New Year's Day, and six of the world's top seven (Tiger, Duval, Phil, Monty, Westwood, Love) decided not to show, along with numerous others (the top seeds were Els, Singh, Sutton, and Lehman). Steve has also won two FedEx Cup playoff events: the 2007 Barclays, and the 2009 Deutsche Bank Championship. Is the 2011 Memorial the biggest win of Stricker's career?

That's a tough question. It beats the WGC because of the field, but it's close with the Barclays and the Deutsche Bank. The Barclays and the DB both have smaller fields, so that makes them easier to win, but they also both had a Tiger Woods in the field at the top of his game and very strong fields composed of the best players of the year.

In my bag:

Driver: Titleist TSi3 | 15º 3-Wood: Ping G410 | 17º 2-Hybrid: Ping G410 | 19º 3-Iron: TaylorMade GAPR Lo |4-PW Irons: Nike VR Pro Combo | 54º SW, 60º LW: Titleist Vokey SM8 | Putter: Odyssey Toulon Las Vegas H7

He might value his wins in the Ryder Cup and President's cup more, even though they theoretically played for free.
