Where to buy good and cheap golf equipment, need some advices

If you have a budget in mind, share it so the responses can be more helpful. You can find a new complete set with all the clubs you need and a bag for around $100-but that may not be your best option.

My advice would be to get used clubs.  I've used both of these sites with good service and products.

The only way to get good and cheap is to buy used.  $400 buys a lot better used clubs then new.

You could always try the "Sweaty Handshake" (Criagslist)...I'm sure you could find a used set of decent clubs on there for a good price

Callaway has a pre-owned site.  It's cheap.  You can get a full setup of good used clubs for less than $500 bucks.

 

If they have flea markets where you live - I picked up a complete set of decent enough learner clubs for $10 with a bag - I used those clubs for at least 20 rounds in the beginning.      I see old golf clubs every week there.   

 

If thats not an option, rockbottomgolf.com & budgetgolf.com are arguably the two largest and most reputable online golf retailers.

 

If you want a recommendation - I've not been playing yet 2 years & still haven't outgrown my first good set - Taylor Made "Burner Plus" irons - they're very forgiving for beginners & now that they've been out a couple years, you can find them on closeout for around $250 new online (I paid $400 for mine new).    Just look for irons in the  "super game improvement" category - that is what you need if you decide to go new ...

I've purchased a lot of stuff from Rockbottomsgolf, never had a problem, low prices, big selection. Spend some time there looking around for deals or go to Ebay.

Check out Callaway pre-owned. You can put together a short set and fill in missing clubs later.

Diamond tour has some good clubs at affordable prices along with hireko. I am now using Malt by clubs from golfworks and I can't rave about them enough and there is a multitude of styles and prices, great quality and very affordable. I picked up a 3-PW for around $300 and they are just as good as anything else I've ever used or tried. They also have some models more for beginners (game improvement) which the heads are cheaper then the ones I purchased. Plenty of good options out there.

New equipment> Discountdansgolf.com/ Golfdiscount.com/ TGW.com/ stick with well known sites that offer discounts and promo codes with a selection of new and used clubs! Callaway preowned and others are good ways to go about getting cheaper equipment depending on what it is your after!

i would recommend craigslist, and also ebay. I recently sold a scotty cameron putter on ebay and had a pleasant experience with it.
