I've been Playing Golf for: 40 years

My current handicap index or average score is: 74 (9 holes)

My typical ball flight is: draw/hook

The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: thin Patrick.11.06.png

Video:

I believe I have managed to defy the laws of science here. No doubt someone will be able to explain this wild hook that managed to start right of target with a club face at least 30° closed.and swing path that's at most 10° in to out.

Hey Patrick ... no matter what else, you at least win the award for most beautiful golf course backdrop scenery!

Hi Grandpa, I think that's also why I thin my shots. To be honest I don't really notice the mountains anymore. BTW... Did you like my old fashioned hook with the nine iron?

Your belief is wrong. Your clubface isn't pointing left of the target at impact. And your path is more than 10° out. Undeniable facts.

Your head moves back, so your weight doesn't get far enough forward, so you flip at it. You are missing Keys #1, #2, and #3 (and you don't even get to look at #4 and #5 since you can't hit the ball solidly).

Thin ice.

I beg to differ. However I would enjoy your feedback and analysis of the 30+ yard hook from a ball that started right of target.

Well he certainly is persistent. To the OP, can we stick with one (disjointed) persona this time around?

Beg all you want. Physics as we know it do not cease to exist when you, oh Patrick of Austria, are hitting a golf ball. Your path is well to the right and the face is just right of the target line. Even in your lousy video that's pretty easy to see.

You didn't return the club to the ball as you gripped it (well closed).

I have no patience for your garbage this time around Patrick. You have no margin for error or forgiveness, you've spent your benefit of the doubt, and you're a proven troll, liar, and rule-breaker (and not in the cool James Dean kind of way).

Thanks for the feedback! I can't however agree with the head thing with my irons. I have benefited from discussing the swing on your forum and hopefully can add my points from time to time. I tried S&T; and a few other things and feel I can at least give more of an opinion on such anomalies.

Wow.  Now I find it REALLY hard to believe that Patrick is a golf instructor.  If Patrick is an instructor then I guess I should go get my tour card. LOL

That's it! I will be handing in my resignation as of tomorrow. I think I will be persuing a career in sportf psychoöogy. At least you don't have to look the part for that. Any old bullshit seems to work, especially with Golfers. I think I should start with the 'inside out' stuff. :~(

Best news I've heard all day.    But why procrastinate until tomorrow?

That isn't even Patrick in those photos. He probably found them on the interwebs.

He probably still lives in his mothers basement, and probably never even touched a golf club in his life.

And he probably needs a shower. LOL
Best news I've heard all day.    But why procrastinate until tomorrow?
I live in a big house with my three bitch slaves. I think you're right about procrastinating, my toenails are turning yellow and mouldy. Perhaps a shower will do the trick. Thanks for the advice. P.S. Will this sort out my swing problem too? :-D BTW, only one actual comment on fixing my swing and that wasn't very helpful! I have decided to change my name to Patrick57_the troll from Tirol

How can anyone help you when you honestly believe you are hitting the ball right of your target line with a severely closed club face? Until you can let go of your need to be right and except the truth of the information that IACAS is offering noone can help you. Keep praying to the "Closed Faced Fairy Gods"

Yours in earnest, Jason.

Who would claim this to be their golf swing if it wasn't?  I mean if you were going to falsely claim a golf swing on the internet, would you really claim this god awful one?
