... as soon as they rename the longest club in the bag the "slicer" and change the rules so that the object is to hide your ball in the woods so your opponents can't find it.  Whose idea was this stupid game anyway?

I'm confused....are you implying that isn't the objective?     Damn, that means I've been doing it wrong all these years as I was just getting pretty proficient with the sliced/shanked-shot-into-the-wilderness game.
