Personal opinions is what you'll get.....mine is the highest bounce they offer. For that loft, I think it's 14*.....

Or get some Edel wedges. Fitted, customized, lots of glide (bounce).

I've been wondering the same thing, and trying to study on it some.  This is definately personal opinion (it's the Internet!) tempered by what I've been reading from what I hope are knowledgable sources.

I got a full set of wedges with my set of G20 Pings when I decided to take this silly game back up, and I am not really unhappy with them, but have been thinking that once my swing finally sort of stabalizes I'll likely get different lob and sand wedges, currently the lob is 58 degrees and the sand 54, both with 12 degree bounce.

Because I often play on courses with hard fairways and fluffy sand traps, I have been thinking of a 60* lob with about 10* bounce and a 56* sand wedge with maybe 14*

From all I've read, the issue is how deep you tend to cut your divots.  The more of a "digger" you are, the more bounce you need.  I'm currently working hard to keep from thinning shots, so definately not a digger by nature, but as I say, waiting for a bit more consistancy before buying different wedges (overall I'm still pretty darn happy with my G20s, even if they aren't as pretty as some would wish).  If you have the opportunity and resources, you might be very well served to get a fitting to determine your needs.  I buy clubs at "big box stores" sometimes, but I don't put much faith in their fittings.  The guys are decent people and all, but they are mostly just "Joes with a job" and an hour or so of training (or so it seems around my area).

I've been researching this myself for at least a week, maybe two..Mr Barzeski (iacas) showed me some valuable videos and a lesson on bounce,,THANK you sir..I've been golfing along time and shoot high 80s to mid 90s..Sometimes high 90s if the greens suck..I just ordered the Tour Edge Exotics Proto V1.1 wedge..56 degrees and a 14 bounce..I wish I had time to get fitted for the Edel wedges but I barely have time to golf two-three times a month..

My new irons are the Tour Edge Exotics and the set came with a 45 deg PW and a 50 deg AW...I play these irons really well and I feel confident the new SW will be fine for me...Rich
