Hello everyone,I was wondering, I've really wanted to watch some older Golf Tournament footage, not old old but like the past few years and I know for one reason or another they are copyrighted and can't be recorded, but I was wondering if there are any PGA affiliated sites that would have archived full tournament footage/broadcasts of PGA Tour events that I can watch to hold me over till the snow melts, Thanks!

All that footage has either been tossed out or sitting in a basement of a studio. There is just no incentive to digitize all that footage and upload it online.

There is some of what you're looking for on the interwebs. If you do a search on YouTube, you'll find past tournaments, mostly not PGA Tour sanctioned.

Play around with search terms, you'll find more. Also drill down on the people who put up the vids:

If you have an STB that plays YT vids attached to your flat screen, you're set, if you don't mind the inconsistent quality. Hey, it's free. You get what you pay for.

The PGA Tour has its own recap channel, a subscription service that features tournament reviews that run about an hour. I tried the 1 month free trial. I did not like the recaps at all as most of it was putting, not full shots or the finesse short game shots. And lots of leaderboards. Yuck. This is it if you're interested:

Hey PGA Tour, if you're reading this, this is how I would improve your Rewind channel. More full shots, short game chips/pitches/bunker play, fewer putts and leaderboards. Throw in some slow motion swings. If you want people to stop uploading your content w/o your permission, put something up that's watchable.

I wish the PGA Tour had some sort of archive offered for a monthly or yearly fee. Alas, they don't. You can see some stuff that people have put up on YouTube as @nevets88 mentioned.

I have tournaments on my hard drive I'm just too lazy to compress and organize. I wonder how many folks out there record tournaments directly to their hard drive like I do.

Thanks everyone! It's just depressing not being able to golf cause of all the snow on the courses, luckily the driving range at my local course is open, unfortunately you can only spend so much time at the range before you want to play a full round!

I wish the Tour would do more of this kind of stuff and less of that dumb "Skratch TV" thing.
