Needed some shorts, Linksoul kept advertising the heck out of me with their stretchy shorts, but found stretchy shorts for golf at A & F for $20. Guess it's back to school shopping time.

For a company I associate with fishing clothes, you'd think they'd have more dri-fit type clothing.

Sorry, this is a kind of a weird thing for me to say, so I should explain.  When A&F started (or, at least, I became aware of them) becoming fashionable among younger people, I was confused because I thought of them as producing old-time sport clothing.  A very brief search a moment ago by me tells me that they began rebranding in the 80s, but also that they did in fact used to sell fishing goods as part of their general aesthetic as a sporting goods store ... but I also found out that this was well before my time.

In other words, I have absolutely no idea why I think of them as fishing goods, when they weren't that within my lifetime and I don't fish.

Of course I had to look up Shawts Sale.   I thought that @nevets88 was from Boston not NY.

When I think of them, I remember their controversial ads. But I just want cheap shorts, not too keen on whomever made them as long as quality is ok.
