Chart showing average recruiting rankings per year,

Overachieving teams... Clemson! They only show up in the top 10 from 2018 to 2020. Not sure how influential their Sophomores are this year, but it's not common to have a team who's recruiting doesn't have a few classes in the top 5 in recurring, 2-4 years before their NC run, actually make a NC run. 

Major underachievers... FSU, USC, Michigan.

LSU has been recruiting pretty well the past 6 years.

I'm a UNLV alumni. We don't worry about such things as national ratings in football. Ranked teams pay us a visit every once in while. They kick out butts, and go home. Looks good on their season

I'm just gonna leave this here...   What have Alabama or Clemson done this season to deserve their spots? The only ranked team either one of them have played thus far is Texas A&M

Recruiting rankings occur before the players play a game, right?

If so, that sounds pretty close to worthless to me.

Yeah. Just beautiful. LSU cleaned house. ‘Lil ole Clemson’ got their pants dropped. JarJar Binks just couldn’t get it going against the SEC beast. Burrow started a bit clunky then got the scramble down and it was over.

Right. And I just don’t see them taking the effort to track down those who may have received any money who are returning.

Back then, when Woods was at Stanford, $25 would buy you a pretty good pair of lunches!  Especially considering there were probably no adult beverages on the tab.  Wasn't Arnie a teetotaler?  And Woods was too young to drink.

I could see any of the players who are still on the team next year being suspended 2-3 games to start the season next year.

Like I said.....

Celebration has nothing to do with it. If that was the case then booster would exploit that till the NCAA stopped it. 

The biggest DUH! in the article is that the players who accepted it are leaving. So it is obvious they would see no punishment. They are not part of the NCAA anymore. 

If a freshman or sophomore took money, I would think they would get a couple game suspension.

Yeah that’s why I said it would blow over. Nobody is going to take the time to watch the film over and over and/or interview witnesses for something like this. It’s done.

Nobody said they would definitely face punishment @Vinsk. Only that lighter infractions have been punished if the kid isn’t a senior/leaving school.

      Day 24 (4 Dec 25) - Spent about an hour working with the new 55° wedge in the backyard.  Kept all shots to under 20yds.  Big focus - not decelerating thru downswing and keeping speed up with abbreviated backswing.  Nothing like hitting a low flighted chip with plenty of check spin and then purpose to float a pitch of similar distance.

      Day 114 12-4 Put some work in on backswing, moving the hips correctly, then feeling over to lead side. Didn't hit any balls was just focused on keeping flowy and moving better. I'll probably do another session tonight and add in some foam balls.

You are not making sense. You come here and post in an open forum, question a system that is constructed with logic, without using any of your own and then give us a small window of your personal experience to support your narrative which at first sight does not makes sense.  I mean, if you are a point of swearing then I would suggest you cut your losses and humor a more gullible audience elsewhere.
