No, I’m not good enough to qualify.

Come on man! How far can you get with that attitude? You’ve got a couple of months to get on tour and win a couple majors!

I’m thinking Koepka, JT, DJ and Tiger

Based on the qualification system, the 4 top ranked Americans go i think. At the moment thats Brooks, Dustin Johnson, Justin Thomas and Tiger. I don't imagine that will change if all of them stay healthy. You can assume one or two of them will drop out. Which brings guys like Cantlay and Shauffee back into play.

But really, unless its match play or something that makes a unique competition, i wont really care about it too much. Its basically just a alternate tour event with a medal ceremony..

With the Olympics being something unique to golf, I believe the top guys will be after the medals.  Pure bragging rights.

Who cares? The Olympic golf was such a sidebar to the event. A simple strokeplay event in the middle of the worlds 2nd biggest sporting event is just incredibly easy to ignore.
