Okay okay, I know this topic has been done a lot. Everyone has their opinions on the value of a custom shaft vs the value of an upgraded exotic shaft.
However, I happen to really like this video because of Chris Dennis. I love when he says "If it looks good, get it."

When I got fit for my driver, I tried, I mean I really tried to find a blue shaft that was the best fit for me. Unfortunately, my fitting led me toward about 3, maybe 4 different shaft options... None of them were blue... DAMNED!

My bag is an ever-changing combination of clubs.

A mix I am forever tinkering with.

I’m sure CC could find one for you as long as it’s $250+/shaft.

Funny you mention that. I actually tested the Oban Kiyoshi Blue. I think it's a $350 up-charge. For me, and my swing, it performed slightly worse than the stock shaft. In fairness to the fitter, he wasn't suggesting it for me. I just told him I want to try it.... because …  it's blue.... Yeah, I'm an idiot.

Painter's tape is blue and a 3 foot piece of it weighs next to nothing.

I ended up with Project X Hzrdus Black for my driver shaft. It was the best fit for me, looks cool, and was offered at no upcharge from Ping. That right there is the triple crown of driver fitting 😎

I would have played a neon pink shaft if I hit it well, though. I don’t really care that much about how my clubs look.

Love the look of the EvenFlow blue that I have on driver and hybrid, but I wasn't fit for it (both used clubs)

I will never understand how much sway the look of golf clubs has over players.
