Walmart junk (Goliath something something) -

Wal-Mart "junk" has helped many people get into the sport.

They also happen to be the largest corporate sponser of The First Tee As you pointed out, they sell (a limited selection of) Adams golf equipment, and their selection of Callaway golf equipment is growing every season. They sell entry level equipment for sure, but I'm not sure "junk" is the appropriate word.

I did not intend to imply that all of the equipment available at Wal-mart is "junk". Just that the 3-wood that i happen to have is "junk" (and quite beat up...along with the Adams clubs) and that was stated mostly out of frustration....nothing to do with their functionality.

I went through a major case of the "I can't hit this thing anymore... " last season with the 3W after going through 3 years of it being the best club in my bag. Went to the local golf dome recently to work with it (still can't play here ) and it felt great!!! Back to happy with it (for now ). I probably won't replace it for quite some time.... Equipment from Wal-mart has made it possible for me to enjoy and learn the game as well as making it possible for me to get my brother and some buddies into the game......and I still make a stop at the golf equipment to check it out on every trip to Wal-mart.
