No topic started so far, so here it is.

Brooks looking good but can't get a putt to drop so far today.

Preferred lies is an absolute joke. Just watch Hovland completely blow a bunker shot, it was on the fringe, he gets to mark clean AND line up his line for the putt. Absurd.

If I remember correctly, Koepka was making some solid putts yesterday, which was a good portion of the reason he shot eight under.

I was thrilled to see a number of big names on top when I looked at the leaderboard at the end of the day yesterday. Fowler, Koepka, Thomas, DeChambeau, to name a few. We’ll see how they hold up the rest of the way.

It's an invitational with a smaller field, so you are bound to see bigger names than usual all over the scoreboard.

OMG my comment actually held up. Worst so far in SG: Putting today....tough look.

Just checked the leaderboard. Brenden Todd is -11, holding on to his 36-hole lead. Fowler’s at -10, and a guy named Joel Dahmen is -8, probably the biggest move of the day, as he is seven under for the day despite making bogey on the first hole.

I hope these poor kids actually want to do their little spots they’re doing. Seems like they’re being put on the spot. Jim trying to keep it moving but I wish he’d help them along a bit more....

      Yeah - I'll keep an eye on that - I've been across the line for about forever, so I assume that I want to overexaggerate the laid off bit to get it closer to square when I take a real swipe at the ball.

      First swings at after a 2.5 month forced hiatus. No surgery in the forecast at the moment! Doc said okay to start easing in gently over a few weeks. The effort is barely 30% here but felt solid.  I think my swing changed a few years ago after my right ankle injury (weight shift profile). I wonder if this may bring about another change. I certainly won't pivot on to the knee (left) aggressively any time soon, if ever. Could even be a good thing..heh.
