Looking for a good, solid, not to expensive golf bag stand for my garage.  Nothing fancy, just something that will keep my bag from falling over.

Sure it can. You can wall mount a bracket to keep a golf bag from falling over out of 2x4.

Honestly at that price I'd rather pay an extra $25 and get the one @NativeTxn posted.
